1. License Grant and Usage Rights
Meltdown is provided under a specific license tier depending on your purchase or selection:
- Professional License: Grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for a single user (seat). The software can be installed on devices personally used by the license holder.
- Site / Enterprise License: Grants an organizational license for unlimited deployment across your organization's devices.
2. Third-Party API Fees and Services
Because Meltdown connects to external LLM providers (like OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter), you are solely responsible for any API costs.
- The software requires you to provide your own API keys.
- We are not responsible for any unexpected bills, rate limits, or service disruptions caused by those third-party LLM providers.
- Changes to third-party APIs that break software functionality are outside our direct control, though we may issue updates to fix them when possible.
3. Payment Terms
We use secure third-party payment processors to handle transactions. We do not process or store financial information directly.
- All purchases, billing, and associated taxes are handled by our designated payment providers.
- All sales are final once the transaction is complete and the software license is issued, unless otherwise stated by the payment processor's specific terms.
4. Acceptable Use and Restrictions
To protect our intellectual property, you are explicitly prohibited from:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the software binaries.
- Redistributing, renting, or reselling the software.
- Using the software to build a competing product.
5. Intellectual Property (IP)
We retain 100% ownership of the software's code, assets, branding, and design. You are purchasing a license to use the software, not purchasing the underlying intellectual property.
6. Termination
If you violate these terms (e.g., by redistributing cracked versions of the app), your license to use the software is automatically terminated, and you must delete all copies of the application immediately.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction where Merkoba operates. Any legal disputes must be settled within that jurisdiction.
