Meltdown

A utilitarian interface for large language models

Focused on conversation. Use it to discuss philosophy and science

Scriptable with Python. Use it to make games and programs

Unconventional & Solid Design

Meltdown is built in Python with Tkinter, replacing the heavy embedded browser found in most clients with fully custom widgets — including a markdown engine built from scratch. This keeps it fast, lean, and precisely in your control. Run multi-model sessions, upload files, and extend your LLMs with tools like web search, image creation, document generation, and persistent memory. Fully scriptable through Python for semi-agentic workflows. The code and architecture are carefully crafted to ensure a stable and effective foundation.
